Welcome back to another episode of Lockton Chiefs.

I am Chris Clark from Chiefs Digest and we are going to be talking today a little bit about what

Kansas City's done so far in Free Agency and what they haven't done and what I find very

interesting about that. Again this is your Google News Story of the Day.

All right, so let's just jump right into it.

What Kansas City has done to this point

is they have signed Mike Panell to a contract

for one year, so he's back, he's going to be back in Kansas City for that one year.

We're going to see whether or not that's going to be anything more than a vet minimum deal.

It doesn't sound like it from what I've seen so far at this

point so that's kind of what we expected it is great to see him back because it was

going to be a position that they're going to need depending especially on what

happens with Chris Jones.

But he is a guy that stepped in for Kansas City last year,

played a significant role in the later part of the season,

in the playoffs, and then definitely in the Super Bowl

had some memorable moments for the team.

Another guy that they brought back Anthony Sherman is also going to be on a smaller

deal. It's a one-year deal for him as well and I know it's already been talked about a little bit.

It does sound like it's another Vetman deal for Anthony Sherman, but he's going to be back in Kansas City, which will make Ryan very happy.
