0:39.9	Welcome to GrowCook Eat Arrange with me Sarah Raven and the lovely thing is today we've also got Arthur back so it's really really fantastic to have him back on the podcast to chat and we're actually going to chat about his new book which is what he's been doing one of the things anyway and we'll talk about that but as it's going to be easter i thought

0:50.9	my life with hens which will include lots of chat about eggs as well, of course.
0:56.1	So hugely welcome, Arthur. It's lovely to have you.
0:59.4	Hello, lovely to be back with everybody. Missed, missed it.
1:02.6	Oh, good. So tell us, before we get cracking on the book, tell us what you've been up to a bit.
1:09.4	Well, well, as you know, I had to finish chicken, this chicken
1:13.7	book off and I've literally just sort of at the stage where editing Flower Yard 2.
1:19.2	Yes. So not to start off with endless self-promotion, but doing two books has been,
1:24.6	but it's been fun. I have to be honest, doing a second gardening book was a lot
1:28.7	easier than the chicken book. Yes. I think you get used to that format of garden books and,
1:34.4	you know, you know, it is lovely double page spreads and more photographic than word. So yeah,
1:40.6	yeah, it's been, it's been nice doing another garden book and also lots of drawing and yeah, that kind of thing.
1:48.2	Well, that all sounds nice and but also hard work, I know, and and keeping you very busy.
1:53.6	But the thing we're here to talk about today is Chicken Boy, which is this really, really
2:00.3	personal book that Arthur has done about what hens,
2:04.9	and Arthur was the first person to teach me that those things with feathers on are not chickens,
2:11.4	actually, they're hens, because chickens is a sort of thing you eat on your plate that has a
2:15.8	white breast and is served with tarragon.
2:18.8	And hens are those lovely fluffy things with character that are wandering around the garden or whatever.
2:23.5	And he actually calls them the girls.
