Hello there everyone, Kirk here coming to you from 2023.

It is almost summer, there is so much going on in my personal life, in my creative life.

I am fully overwhelmed, just trying to keep up, to keep my head above water, and take

things one thing at a time.

And whenever I get overwhelmed, I tend to turn to music to calm me, in few songs calm

and re-center me, as powerfully and consistently as Sufjan Steven's song Chicago.

So that's the episode that I'm bumping up for this week.

It's an episode that's near and dear to my heart.

It has long been one of my favorite episodes of strong songs.

I've heard from a lot of people who have really enjoyed it as well, which makes me very

happy to hear just because I was very happy with it.

It's a song that I've loved since the very first time that I heard it, and I just think

I managed to capture something about it in this episode to translate my love of it into

the episode in a way that I found pretty creatively gratifying.

Like Bjork's Hyper Ballad, which I bumped up two weeks ago, this is another song that's

about travel.

It's about the search for the self out on the Great Rolling Road.

I've been embarking on an unusual amount of travel lately with more on the horizon,

and I've been finding myself in that way that you really only can by leaving your familiar

surroundings behind.
