Jeff then quickly rolls through the Bears wideouts and breaks down Cole Kmet's fantasy upside. What is up, it's the rant. My name is Jeff Racklevin and it is Tuesday June 15th.

And our fantasy football preview series rolls on today. We're going to be talking the

0:26.2

Chicago Bears. Is this perhaps the end of the Matt Nagy regime? I don't know. I know some

0:33.2

bears fans might hope it is, but maybe they bought themselves some extra time with the first

0:40.0

round selection of Justin Fields in this year's draft. So of course, a big question that we

0:43.4

need to answer. When will fields be under center? Of course, there's others other elements

0:49.1

to this team. Of course, David Montgomery and his amazing finish to last year. We also

0:54.9

have the wide receiver position. And hey, man, Cole Comet, not bad for his rookie campaign.

But let's dive into the quarterback position since it really is kind of pivotal to this

1:06.3

entire team. So the Mitchell Trubisky era is officially over. And of course, during free

1:12.6

agency, the team did bring in Andy Dalton, signed him on a one year deal. That is a bridge

1:33.0

start in the NFL still is what it is. That doesn't mean the fantasy viable. It just means

1:38.4

he can be a starting caliber quarterback, very low end, but he had to do something. So

1:43.4

they did something. Now they also put themselves in a very interesting position, trading

1:49.8

up to the 11 spot and getting Justin Fields, who a lot of people thought could have even

1:54.2

been the number three overall pick at various points in the pre drive process. I think

2:00.9

as we got to the very end, and you know, the Mac Jones thing went out of control. Fields

2:06.2

was decidedly the number three on that list. A lot of people had it either as Jones

2:10.2

or Lance, but still he could have been the fourth overall pick. Somebody could have traded
