Summary

In today's episode, we're chatting about checking our vision to make sure we are really seeing the full picture of our lives. When was the last time you slowed down enough to really pull back and see your life with a bird's eye view? We often get so distracted with what's right in front of us that we forget to see the full view of what's really going on. So today I'm sharing three simple tips to check your vision.

Verses mentioned in this episode:

“Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, for the life of your soul is at stake.” Isaiah 55:3

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is”. Romans 12: 2

“My thoughts are completely different from yours,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than th earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:7

Hello there, podcast family. Welcome back to another episode of the Good Day podcast. Thank you so much for joining me today. I'm really excited about this episode I have for you. But first, I have to apologize last week. You guys, I didn't have an episode out last week and I feel so bad about that um it wasn't

0:23.3

what I wanted to happen I feel like it just I was there was a lot going on let's just say that

0:29.0

if you listen to my episode a couple of weeks ago my little life update I shared that my dad

0:32.8

was having heart surgery um which by the way went, went very well. The doctors said everything that

0:40.6

they wanted to happen. Like, it all went well, which was such an answer to prayer. And he was

0:46.8

recovering last week, and I was helping with that. And there was just a lot going on. And I feel like

0:50.9

I just didn't have it in me to do a podcast episode on top of all the other

0:56.2

things happening in life. So that's that's the main reason. And I'm so sorry for that. But like I said,

1:01.4

my dad is, um, he's actually doing really well. He had a little scare a couple days after the procedure,

1:07.4

a little scary moment. But other than that, for the most part, his recovery has been

1:12.4

really good. And he's had to be on bed rest and like take it super easy, which is hard for him.

1:17.3

If you know my dad, or maybe if you're a personality that doesn't like to sit around, I'm kind of

1:22.0

that way myself. It was hard for him to just relax. But anyway, we're through the worst, the hardest part of

1:29.2

the recovery now. And so life is a little bit more back to normal. And so yeah, I'm back at the podcast.

1:36.9

And you guys, today's episode is one I've had on my heart for a while. I've been wanting to

1:41.2

kind of share this, but I wasn't really sure like how to put it all into an episode that would make sense for you while. I've been wanting to kind of share this, but I wasn't really sure how to put it

1:44.4

all into an episode that would make sense for you guys because back in April, let's just start

1:50.5

here. Back in April, I was reading my Bible and I came across this verse in Isaiah, Isaiah 553,

1:57.5

and it says, come to me with your ears wide open. Listen listen for the life of your soul is at stake the life

2:05.5

of your soul is at stake that's a new living translation that's what my Bible is but um anyway I just

2:12.0

read that and I was like wow that is a powerful verse the life of your souls at stake come to me with your ears wide open

2:20.2

and so i wrote that down and it kind of stuck into my mind and i um just felt like i kept coming
