you know, every time you hear this proclamation by tech people that they finally close the gap

between computers and human beings, just know that every other time they've said that,

it turns out that that gap was much larger than what they had thought.

And that goes all the way back to the 19th century when you had these images of robots that

were, you know, steam powered that were going to replace human beings.

That gap is always larger.
