sex basically and and also in dating like sex in dating as well as just how we can be sexual, I guess you'd say.

And we have an awesome guest, Dr. Jennifer Finlayson Fife.

She is a woman sex therapist and she has a lot of stuff that I can want to have her kind of explain because I don't want to mess anything up and not add anything.

So Jennifer, thank you for coming on this episode with us and we would just like to hear kind of like,

you know, you're a little bit of your background and and kind of what got you started in your profession and we'll kind of go from there.

Well, thanks for having me.

I let's see, I live in Chicago and I'm married and have three children and I grew up in

Vermont in the church my parents they were born and raised in Idaho but my dad took a job as a

professor at University of Vermont and so that's this is where I was born I

happened to be in Vermont right now. But I went to Brigham Man University and knew that I wanted to be a marriage therapist.

You know, eventually that became clear to me that that's really what I wanted to do. It wasn't until I was in

grad school and I was asked to teach two undergraduate courses. One was drugs and alcohol and the

other was sexuality and as an

LDS person with no experience with either.

It was kind of blown away that those were the two topics that I was

supposed to be some kind of expert on.
