0:25.0	Hi, welcome to find your person. I am Jake and I'm with my co-hosts, Stephanie and Dustin.
0:31.0	And we are super excited for you guys to listen to this episode. We are going to talk about
0:38.5	sex basically and and also in dating like sex in dating as well as just how we can be sexual, I guess you'd say.
0:47.0	And we have an awesome guest, Dr. Jennifer Finlayson Fife.
0:52.0	She is a woman sex therapist and she has a lot of stuff that I can want to have her kind of explain because I don't want to mess anything up and not add anything.
1:08.0	So Jennifer, thank you for coming on this episode with us and we would just like to hear kind of like,
1:18.0	you know, you're a little bit of your background and and kind of what got you started in your profession and we'll kind of go from there.
1:27.0	Great.
1:28.0	Well, thanks for having me.
1:29.0	I let's see, I live in Chicago and I'm married and have three children and I grew up in
1:37.6	Vermont in the church my parents they were born and raised in Idaho but my dad took a job as a
1:45.1	professor at University of Vermont and so that's this is where I was born I
1:50.3	happened to be in Vermont right now. But I went to Brigham Man University and knew that I wanted to be a marriage therapist.
1:59.0	You know, eventually that became clear to me that that's really what I wanted to do. It wasn't until I was in
2:04.3	grad school and I was asked to teach two undergraduate courses. One was drugs and alcohol and the
2:11.6	other was sexuality and as an
2:13.6	LDS person with no experience with either.
2:17.0	It was kind of blown away that those were the two topics that I was
2:21.3	supposed to be some kind of expert on.
