So if you're here for the very first time this morning,

you're catching us on the tail end of a journey.

We've been journey together over the past several weeks

through the material in chasing daylight and the basic theme of

chasing daylight is how to seize the power of every moment.

But we have to step back and remember that life is full of too many moments for us to capture one moment at a time.

That would just lead us to madness. Imagine if you were so

consciously aware of every minute of your life. It's hard, so we think in terms of years, or months or weeks or days, or even

hours. You might actually step back and go, wow, I really wasted today. Anybody have a day that you've wasted?

Or maybe you look back and go, wow, I just wasted the last couple of hours.

Or if you're not careful, you might have wasted a few months or a few years.

And if you really don't pay attention, you might actually have wasted an entire life.

But all of us have probably have a few wasted moments along the way. I mean, after all,

the moment you try to grab a moment, that moment's gone. And then if you're trying to grab the

moments there, the moment that's coming you're not prepared for.

But what we've discovered is that life is actually shaped by five or six defining moments.
