survivor stories that we have on our show. So Charlie's not coming on to the show to talk about

a long marriage today or a long relationship or control escalated over many years.

She's going to be talking about what happened after she tried to get help.

And after two painful relationships that Charlie went through, she found someone online that presented themselves as a recovery practitioner for abuse.

And this person seemed to understand everything that she had been through.

And Charlie worked with her professionally.

And for a while, it felt like she had finally found a practitioner who got what she went through.

But then the relationship crossed a line and it became

personal. It became romantic and slowly Charlie found herself in a relationship with someone who

already knew all of her wounds, her past, her trauma, everything that had been hurt about her
