The suspect accused of shooting political activist Charlie Kirk is expected to make his

first court appearance next Tuesday. Tyler Robinson is being held without bail on several charges,

including aggravated murder, according to officials. Sources tell CNN he's not talking to investigators.

Officials say authorities found a bolt-action rifle, wrapped in a towel,

and inscriptions engraved on bullet casings, including one that read,

Hey, Fascist, catch.

Discord, the group chat app, investigated conversations on its platform and says the suspect's

roommate and a friend exchanged messages about a note from Robinson, saying he needed to get

the rifle he left in a bush.

But Discord said it found no evidence the suspect promoted violence or planned the fatal

shooting on their platform.

A major break in the case came last night after the FBI released photos of a person of interest caught on surveillance camera.

A law enforcement official tells CNN his father recognized the images, and another source says when his father confronted his son, he confessed.
