You never learned how to do instrument flying.

That was an act of recklessness to some degree.

John Kennedy had broken his ankle and it had the cast removed the day before but he was still

on crutches and if you've ever broken an ankle that's going to hurt for years but it's

going to be very very painful the day that they take the cast off and when you're flying

a plane like his and if on the ground you have to steer with pedals and you have to operate

those pedals with your feet and it would have been very very painful and inconvenient for

him to do that.
