I wasn't just Braley's main caretaker, I was also my moms and when we left she was

alone so what we heard and the conversations that we had after that were her needing us.

You push back, you're trying to find boundaries or who you are, or even if you have an amazing childhood.

At some point you sort of push back against your parents because you're trying to create your own self, your own version of self, you know, outside of your parents' concept of who they think you are.
