Oh, how's your summer of loath going? I'll admit, Daddy's lonely. Daddy's not having the best week. It's just the heat is just so intrusive and it keeps on a coming.

I'm such a cheap skate that I got my utility bill.

And I actually spent less in this period than the period before because I was so mindful of not turning on the AC.

What kind of nonsense is that?

It was actually very nice to see because a little project that I've done to make myself feel better while I'm here is I rigged up some flood lights to a security system so they automatically

turn on and that way the abandoned house that homeless people keep trying to break into, at

least during the night, the lights will just flood and turn on all of a sudden. And it's very,

it's very effective. It scares me sometimes when like a moth flies by the sensor or something and the lights suddenly flick on.

So I imagine it's been a pretty great deterrent.

And even setting that whole project up on the cheap and turning it on every night, like, it's just, it's very validating.

I kind of in some ways appreciate that I keep learning new small skills and taking small steps towards making everything better.

But even little things like that just don't work out because all it means is now I have not to front more homeless people during the day.

And I've gotten really good at it.

I'm just like basically a bouncer at this point.

Like, come on, buddy.

Come on, come on, lady.

Got to keep moving.

And like, you can't tell stories about these people because they are desperate.

They are at their end.

They are often just fucked up beyond all recognition in the moment.

So, like, I don't want to, like, mind them for comedy or anything,
