week we are joined by US brand ambassador, Shantel Jeffries. She reveals to us how she

became CJ the DJ, her brand new edit with PLT, and what really goes on behind the ground.

This brand saw and they knew that I was working on the stuff and they just thought I was already

DJing so they asked me to play their swimming party and I was like well I better figure out what I'm doing.

Hi Shantel. Hi. Welcome to the PLT podcast. Thanks for having me. It's so nice to have you here.

We've wanted to get you on the podcast for so long and I feel like this time it really makes sense.

We've got the editors just come out which we're going to talk about a bit later on but yeah it's

really good to have you here. I don't know whether you're familiar with our podcast but we kind of

like want to get to know everything about our guests. I feel like I already know you kind of

threw your Instagram and through your YouTube but we want to get deep and find out like where you

kind of began. So you've got a lot to be credited for. Not only are you a DJ, you're an actress,

YouTuber, a record producer. I mean is there anything you don't do? I mean there's a long list.

There's more to list. Yeah. But how did it all kind of start out for you? Like what did you start

with? Was it always DJing? I've always been someone who's really interested in a wide variety of

topics and it's something I like to learn new things and explore and you know you never really know

what you like until you try things. So I think it's important to try as many things as possible and

just kind of like see what it is that clicks for you and what peaks your interest the most.

Because then you're able to find your passions and see things that you have an enjoyment doing

rather than feel like it's a chore. So over time there's been many things that have peaked my

interest that I've liked and I've went through phases with different things but I definitely think

everything's a little bit interconnected and things you learn on one subject often cross over
