Yeah.

All right.

Welcome on to a very special Haan-Zer and Duncan in which we will not begin with

0:06.7

the witches cackle because perhaps people might misinterpret that as thinking that I have

0:11.3

cursed the NBA with the annual now rash of playoff injuries.

0:17.6

So where we're going to start here is John and I took some time to think at least

0:21.8

preliminarily about what the NBA could do to reduce injuries in the playoffs. Because we've

0:28.9

talked some about reducing games in the regular season. I think that is something that should

0:32.0

happen and probably won't. But the playoffs, the seven game series is sacrosanct. You really

0:59.8

idea for changing the game, and this is just a brainstorm, you know, we might, some things are not

1:05.8

amazing, perhaps, but we've heard them, we want to just talk through them, your first idea for

1:09.7

changing the game

1:10.9

to potentially reduce injuries i think one of the biggest things is the load and the strain that

1:17.7

our game puts on player's soft tissues i mean soft tissue injuries i think are are where it's at

1:23.1

probably when you're looking at injury reduction uh broken bones are going to happen in a contact sport.

1:30.3

We don't seem to have had rashes of those.

1:34.6

And maybe there are one or two things you could do to lower that probability a little bit.
