For my regular listeners, I want to share with you a little bit about who Ascension is and why we've decided to collaborate to bring you girlfriends.

So first, who is Ascension?

Ascension's mission, as they stated, is, quote, to present the truth and beauty of the Catholic

faith as the sure path to authentic happiness

in a hurting world. Through powerful media and shared group experiences, Ascension strives to

answer the longings of the human heart with the transformative power of the gospel.

That's beautiful language, but really, who are they really? To me, all of that mission statement

translates as they share the truth in a beautiful and uniquely engaging way.

That honestly, in my own experience, describes all of their products and all of their projects.

They're an amazing company doing some really amazing and unique work inside of the church today.

A couple of years ago, I had the opportunity and the privilege to work with Ascension to create

the Monmipotent Program, which is a book that I wrote and also a parish-based study, which is
