Looking back at the second legs of the round of 16 from Wednesday night, the four final teams

have booked their spots in the quarter finals. Liverpool did so overturning a 1-0

away leg deficit with a 4-0 win at Amfield to progress 4-1 and very comfortably in the end. Spurs

put up a better fight than many expected, winning

three two against Adetico Madrid in North London, but ultimately it wasn't enough. And they went

down 7-5 on aggregate, which does feel like a wild scoreline. Byron finished the job that they set

out last week in Bergamo. They won 6-1 in

Bergamo. They won 4-1 tonight in Munich to make that 10-2 on aggregate. And Barcelona put seven

past Newcastle at Camp Now, filled to 60,000 for the first time since the renovations to go

through 8-3 on aggregate.

It was a night for individual accolades as well, both Harry Kane and Mosella, making it to 50

Champions League goals apiece.
