Yeah, hello, everybody, and welcome once again to The View from the Lane, the Tottenham Hospital

from The Athletic, with me, Danny Kelly, today, Jay Harris and James Morgan, Athletic,

and later on we'll be joined for a little bit, a ray of sunshine in the otherwise overcast world

of Tottenham by Megan Ferringa to talk about how the Spurs' women's team have transformed

their fortunes in the current season. First, Jay, I'll start with you. You wrote last week

how Spurs are, and this is an incredible thought, more toxic than ever, and that

Tudor has backfired. Where do you stand all the way things are at the moment? So you missed out

on last week's absolute grief fest in which we beat our forage with stones over the state of

play at Tottenham? Well, I didn't miss it. I listened to it in the gym afterwards. Where do I stand on things?

You've just said it. Spurs are more toxic than ever. And I said that because, and this is something

Jack has spoken about many times. Previously, sort of Daniel Levy was this unifying force where

everybody directed that anger at him. Then it was Thomas Frank. And what I saw

at the stadium on Thursday was fans just lashing out in every single direction. There were people,

which I don't think is quite fair, but there were people shouting at the club's analysts in the

press box. There were people shouting up towards the director's box. There obviously people

leaving at half time.

And for me, it was a sense of, wow, the wheels have completely come off here.

And I woke up on the day of the game, saw that West Ham had won and Nottingham Forrest had

drawn, and thought, this has to provoke a reaction. This has to make the players go,

ooh, we're in a really bad situation here. We've been coasting for weeks, thinking we're going to provoke a reaction. This has to make the players go, ooh, we're in a really bad situation here.
