this is Leslie Allen.

I am the editor of Shift the magazine

and happy to join us co-host.

Last time this year, that's right, Leslie.

This is our final episode of the first season of the Shift Podcast.

And we're certainly going to end the first year here with a great guest.

We have Gary Shapiro, the president and CEO of the Consumer Technology Association, which runs

CES on here in a little while.

And that's right, and of course we are gearing up for CES as we see,

because that's going to be our next big activity.

So Pete, tell me a little bit about what you're expecting out of

C. Yes. What I'm expecting is is another year Leslie of of a mixture of awe and

dread. I think that CES is a must attend for anybody in the automotive industry.

I think obviously anybody working on self-driving technology.

It's an all-consuming four or five day event where you know you're going from

6 a.m. to you know past midnight

working hard and you know so that's more of what I'm expecting

more than it any particular product or anything I know there's some there are some

big keynote keynotes from transportation industry executives
