| 0:59.4 | Inequality is a serious problem today. |
| 1:02.3 | That's underestimated by many. |
| 1:04.2 | But which is behind a lot of the conflicts and populism, but also another other social |
| 1:09.7 | conflicts in all over Europe and all over the industrialized |
| 1:12.6 | countries behind Brexit, behind the bashing of Europe and the euro and many European countries. |
| 1:19.6 | So it is a problem. Government should take it more seriously. |
| 1:24.6 | The causes to me are not globalization, but it's really about institutions, |
| 1:30.3 | weakening of labor market institutions. It's about lack of equality of opportunity, |
| 1:35.3 | and partly also technological change. And the solution therefore will not be more redistribution, |
| 1:40.3 | but really focusing on creating equality of opportunity, really creating a level |
| 1:45.9 | playing field in the area of taxation, in the area of transfers, in the area of education, of course, |
