But let me introduce the Timmermans event first. The Commission is putting out various proposals to strengthen incentives to decarbonise in July.

That's all under the banner of the Fit 455 package.

And the package includes a proposal for an awkwardly titled, and I always get this wrong, carbon border adjustment

mechanism, or C-BAM, reform of the EU's emissions trading scheme, which has been long-standing

and has been in effect since 2005, and an update to the effort sharing regulationaring regulation alongside various other initiatives too.
