The centrist are having an aura problem.

They are becoming increasingly more irrelevant. And as that happens, they're becoming more and more belligerent. They don't know how to deal with their fading relevancy. They're kicking a screaming. They're like a cornered fox. Yeah. No, they're really upset about it. And of course, today we're going to talk about the Hassan hate. we're going to talk about Mallory McMorrow in the U.S. Senate race here in Michigan.

This shit was genuinely absurd, unforced error after unforced error. But I'm glad my favorite Rhodes Scholar, Abdul, is finally getting some more attention nationally. But before we get into that, I want to talk about something adjacently related. Okay. Because as I was saying, right, centrist are sort of, they have this aura problem.

They're becoming more irrelevant, but they still occupy a major place in the establishment and in the media. And as such, they've been going pretty crazy with their condemnations of Hassan Piker. And one of the people that condemned Hassan and said, I would under no circumstances go on his show, was our senator, Alyssa Slotkin. Big on our senator, big on my Democrat, Alyssa Slotkin, man. There's not really, this past month, she's been on an absolute tear. Oh, yeah. When it comes to just statement after statement after statement, that's horrible. Yeah, no, she, she said something about Hassan like supporting terrorists or like laundering terrorist rhetoric or something along those lines. I don't remember exactly what the quote was. The typical fucking establishment line. And then she promptly went on Bill Maher's show. Which is like, like the Islamophobia is just through the roof, dude. To say like no Democrat should go on Hassan, but I'm going to go on Bill Maher. As if Bill Maher's rhetoric isn't like way more extreme than Hassans when it comes to certain minority groups. Fucking whatever. And now I realize that we have the opportunity to have two anti-Hassan senators if that happens. But anyways, she went on Bill Maher, and there's a number of clips to come out of this, just astonishing moments from our Senator, Alyssa Slokin. But there's one that I want to stick on because this sort of feeds into the critique we've had of her for a while. And it reminds me of the, you remember the Dan Campbell Lions comparison she made? Like Democrats. Oh my God. That shit. Yes. I do remember that. It's yes. This resembles that quite a bit. And I wanted to play this clip because, man, this is just, if this isn't Alyssa lock in that I don't know what is. A whole lot of just saying nothing without saying anything or trying to say something,

saying words without saying anything at the same time. Lots of that. My Democrats are excellent at that. So let's take a look at Alyssa Slotkin. I'm Bill Maher. You're not going to get me to defend Democratic messaging. that's not going to be ever something that I'm going to defend.

That's part of the problem and why we lost the last election and we can have a whole autopsy about that.

Well, they hate it, though.

I think for me, what is important going forward, whether you're a Democrat or Republican, is like the American people, they're telling us something.

They want something different out of their government.

They want, like, they want some different out of their government. They want

like, they want some alpha energy from their leaders. And they certainly, whether you agree with

them or not, are getting that from some of the Republicans. And my plea to my own party is like,

can we have a little bit more alpha energy, punch and believe in what we believe in and show people that we give a

shit and be simple about what addressing the needs that they care about the most. And that has

been a struggle. And I'm here to be a part of that change. Alpha energy is going to overcome all

the times we flip-flop on positions. Alpha energy is going to overcome all the times. People like Alyssa Slokin go to the media and say one thing like tacitly, not even with full force, I'll then go vote another way. What are we talking about? People like Alyssa Slokin going out there and saying like we need to say what we believe forcefully is insane because she doesn't. Well also saying like we need alpha energy and not like endorsing the guy who can bench 315. It's type shit. No, literally. What's going on? It's just like, Alyssa Slokin also had this other quote on Bill Maher. Something like people just want their government to work for them. It's not even necessarily ideological. And I'll agree that like a lot of people, a lot of average people that don't think too much about politics aren't consistently dedicated to a certain ideology, right? Yeah. Like that's certainly the truth.

But to think that like the efficient and effective functioning of government isn't a matter of the ideology of people in government is fucking ridiculous. No, those things aren't mutual. Those things aren't like they're intertwined. They're intertwined. Yeah. Yeah. No, that's absolutely fucking deranged. And it's also like we need alpha energy unless you're like, you know, advocating for less military spending or less money going to Israel or Medicare for all or any of the things. Yeah, exactly. We need moderate alpha energy. Two things that are mutually exclusive. Let me tell you. That's just not something that can ever happen. She loves to go to the media and make these big statements about what the Democrats need to do, about how they need to kill sacred cows. And then she loves to go and support the war in Iran. And then she loves to go and go and do the same status quo bullshit that got us here in the first place. No, exactly. Yeah. Like Alpha, like saying, well, we're in it now, so we have to support it.
