History is codified into law right here on this podcast.

So we're doing a three-part series.

Some of you know, during a pandemic, I asked Dr. Gray-Kar, America's professor,

the professor of the largest Africana studies classroom in the world.

If I could hit record

as we were having one of our numerous conversations about historic figures, because this man

is just, oh my goodness, he's good. So he said, sure. And that gave birth to something called

narrative, narrative with a K. The K is silent. Narrative. And in my mind, I started

this journey to preserve stories, to preserve our stories. And Dr. Carr, of course, was going

to be the one to, you know, give us all of the lessons. And it has turned into five years of

something I couldn't even imagine.

Out of narrative came Nubia, which is the social action portion of narrative.

And you can't get to Nubia except through narrative.

And we have now a community of thousands and thousands of people all over the globe, all over Africa, the Caribbean, of course,

United States, every state in our union and beyond Central and South America.

I mean, we are everywhere.

And what has happened is we have people committed and devoted to knowledge who then will

bring that knowledge back to their community and build.

And so we talk a lot about bringing your brick.

And what that means is you're the brick, which means you have to be whole.

Can't build with a brick that's got something missing.
