Yeah, I want to get the title exactly right is out now justice is coming how progressives are going to take over the country and

America is going to love it. Jank I know you've been writing this book for a very long time and as someone who's an author myself

I know it's always a glacial bamboo under the fingernails process. What finally got you around to you know getting this resolving out.

Yeah, so basically I run the TYT network I'm the founder and CEO and I host our flagship show the young turks.

Right and I've got two young kids so it was just a matter of attrition like just getting through it you know moving to the next trench and the next

trench but I will tell you there were parts of the process where I had to get over mental hurdles and one of them was having an establishment person

New York Times book reviewer in my head and I had to kick that person out of my head before I could continue writing.

And I'm I wrote it for the audience I wrote it for the average person and some parts of the establishment will despise the book.

And they're supposed to it's for outsiders and it's for progressives and populists that are looking to overthrow the system.

Yeah, when talking to conservatives it's almost impossible to get them to view there being some distinction between establishment Democrats and Democrats and progressives and Democratic Socialists and they might have some kind of grudging confession that Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders

aren't the same phenomenon but if you push them it's like well they just want to they're going to end up the same place anyway.

And I don't think that's accurate because Bernie Sanders would have never passed the defense of marriage act as a very easy example.

Certainly they're probably certainly in terms of foreign policy.

I don't think their worldviews are analogous.

How would you explain to people the difference between say progressivism and someone who is just a straight ticket Democratic voter?

I think it's very easy to explain to the average guy to Republicans what it's where it gets difficult is what I call mainstream Democrats who are growing up on mainstream media that's where it gets the hardest.

So so the average person I would just say look super simple progressives are for all of like the Democratic agenda you've heard of that is for the average worker higher minimum wage paid family leave child tax credit and I can go on and on and on right.

And establishment Democrats like Hillary Clinton are for corporate rule so they will do whatever their corporate donors tell them to do.
