So there's something called apoptosis, which is programmed cell death. But sometimes when the cells

0:04.5

become dysfunctional, this can be overrided. And we think it probably has to do with the mitochondria

0:08.8

because the mitochondria are like the sensor units. And then instead of going into a normal

0:13.0

regulated cell death process, they get override and they become these zombie cells, which is

0:17.8

they're dead, but they're not really dead. So they're able to still secrete stuff, which is essentially pro-inflammatory cytokines and other things that could cause problems. But senesis is also kind of like a balance. Sanestis is all a normal part of homeostasis. You saw it like you want no senesin cells, but you don't want too much either. And we know that as you get older, you get too many of these zombie cells, and we know

0:37.8

that's really associated with aging. And so one of the products we use is the products you guys make,

0:41.9

which we love is the senoletic product because it's just a short course and it helps to clear out

0:45.9

these senescent cells. And we find just anecdotally that it can be a way to improve results

0:50.8

for patients when we're putting the stem cells into this microenvironment.

Hi, I'm Dr. Dan Stickler.

1:12.2

Before we get into this week's episode, I wanted to share with you about a protocol

1:16.6

I'm passionate about it in my practice.

1:18.6

Now, everyone wants to slow down aging, but most of us aren't sure how to do it the right

1:23.4

way, and there's something that I recommend that everyone can do and it takes just two days a month.

1:29.9

It's a bodily cleanse that helps get rid of old defective cells, these cells we call

1:34.2

senescent cells. They're shown to be related to so many symptoms of poor aging. This is something

1:40.1

that all of us need to address as we age. This bodily cleanse is a supplement which contains a

1:46.2

group of ingredients that we call synolytics. New research on aging and longevity, including a

1:51.5

clinical study on qualia sinolytic, shows that synolytic supplementation can play a huge role
