Happy Halloween, Richies! As usual, the stars are celebrating by going all out with their elaborate, over-the-top and outrageous costumes. But of course, all this creativity doesn’t really count unless it’s well-documented on social media! Kim Kardashian and Janelle Monae went blue by dressing up as two different sci-fi movie characters. Pop star Ariana Grande hit a high note with fans when she and actor Liz Gillies shared videos of them recreating scenes from the iconic mockumentary “Best in Show.” But not every celeb’s costume choices were hits with the public - some stars were dressed down for dressing up. Like Lizzo, who took some heat for her look as rapper Chrisean Rock, and Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly for their controversial take on Catholicism. This, of course, is not the first time the people have come for celeb costume missteps. (Anyone remember Julianne Hough in blackface or Chrissy Teigen’s Native American costume?) So here’s our question - even though some stars still push the limits, are most of them playing it safe these days?
