That's my introduction.

I am from the publics of Sano de Fanto and Zia and today I am representing the Red Nation and Red Media.

So I would like to begin today by letting you know that this is just part one of a series that's being brought to you by the deep ecology project.

And so today's panel is an opening introductory panel.

Here we have the organizations that are a part of the Deep Ecology Project, which is to bring attention to the Red Hill jet fuel spill on Oahu.

This is a Navy, it's the Navy's fault, right? And it is now impacting the water supply in Oahu. So this affects everyone, including those who represent the U.S. military. Of course, we chose today for a very specific reason, right? Today people are celebrating US independence, but we say no. We need to celebrate anti-imperialism and the ongoing anti-imperialist struggles that we are all fighting in as indigenous people and as people who care about the earth is the humble people of the earth.

So the next panel is going to take place the first week of August. This one is going to be hosted by Slow Factory and it's going to focus locally. It's going to focus on issues in Hawaii. It's going to be focused on statehood, critiques of statehood, and of course the ongoing Navy pollution. Following that, there's going to be another panel hosted by Oahu Water Protectors. following that

following that there's going to be another panel hosted by Oahu water protectors. And this is going to be later in that month

and this one's going to be branching out, looking at the internationalist perspective and anti-imperialist struggles abroad.

So to get started today, I would like to remember the late and great how Anani K Trask, our beloved sister, mother, auntie, and elder.

She said, famously, we are not American. Say it in your heart. Say it when you sleep. We are not American. We will die as Hawaiians. So I'd like to honor her today and may she be with us. Okay, that being said, I'd like to open it up for the
