Operation Epic Fury was a historic and overwhelming victory on the battlefield.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hexeth this morning framed the ceasefire with Iran as the culmination of a complete military success.

Midnight Hammer, of course, referring to the U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities in June. There's also the critical issue of the Strait of Hormuz, Iran's major point of leverage.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Cain indicated that the waterway was open,

while marine tracking data showed at least two tankers had passed through the strait this morning,

as Iran has said its military will coordinate all passage through the waterway during the ceasefire,

experts say it will take much longer than two weeks to clear the backlog of ships.
