Eroticism.

Do I have your attention?

What happens inside of you when I say those words, or you think about sex and sexuality

and eroticism in your sexual expression?

Do you notice some anxiety comes up?

Do you stop breathing?

Do you all turn on?

Are you thinking, oh, I don't know if this is a word.

This episode is for me.

We have a lot of hang-ups around sex and sexuality that come from our past, that come from

culture, that come from parents, that come from religious conditioning, and I could go on

and on and on in terms of where all these come from.

And part of the human experience is sex and sexuality.

Part of being in a human body is about experiencing pleasure, yet for so many because sexuality

our bodies were abused, or violated, or shamed, or blamed, or criticized, or judged,

or didn't develop at the right time, or don't look the quote-unquote right way, we disconnect

from a lot of our sexuality, and it's an area of our life that isn't optimized.

We also have an interesting relationship with consent.

I think most of you listening can think of a time that you engage in something physically

that you didn't really like.

You went farther than you wanted to, or you did something for someone else's pleasure
