At a restaurant in Calgary, mobile phone wholesaler, an encryption expert, Jeff Green, is being

whined and dined by a guy he's never met before. Someone who says he's got a new product

for him, a super secure mobile phone.

Jeff looks at the spec.

It looks impressive.

Then comes the pitch.

Would Jeff like to carry this new product on his website? Jeff doesn't really know the guy sitting across the table. He doesn't know if you can trust him.

But this encrypted phone looks like a great product. Jeff knows he can find retailers

for it.

Tempting, but Jeff walks away.

Two days later, he makes a decision. He's in. What could possibly go wrong?

What Jeff, a legit businessman, doesn't realize is that he's just agreed to sell an encrypted phone that will become the industry standard for organized crime.
