Wildfires have consumed Southern California, and an absolute hellstorm has hit the neighborhood

that I've lived in for 23 years, Pacific Palisades.

You know, we brought both of our girls home from the hospital to that house.

Everything from their childhood, everything I have from my childhood and MTV is in that house because that

is our permanent home and it is encircled by flames on three sides. The fire consumed one of my

neighbor's homes, which is about a block and a half away. And the reports that we are getting

because everyone is evacuated and And we've downloaded every fire app imaginable from FireSpot to

watch duty. And Cal Fire has a map of where the fires are going. And it is just a feeling of helplessness.

I'm trying to get anyone, anyone who can go back into the neighborhood

to get eyeballs on our street so I can tell some of my neighbors whether or not our homes are

still standing and it's only going to get worse. The winds are going to intensify today.

The fire hydrants are dry. The aircraft to drop, you know, massive amounts of water on these blazes, they have been grounded since last night.

So there are a lot of outstanding questions.

I don't know if they'll be satisfactorily answered.

But it is unlike anything that any of us could have imagined or that we have seen.
