A queer-focused, affordable housing community on Capitol Hill is bringing joy to LGBTQ-plus people late in life.

But first, let's get you caught up.

As we're about to talk about, there are so many pride events happening this weekend.

There's the big pride parade on Sunday, which will get rolling at Westlake Park at 11 a.m.

Former Seattle Storm legend Sue Bird and former Seattle rain superstar Megan Rapino will serve as this year's Parade Grand Marshals.

Tonight, a trans pride celebration is happening at Volunteer Park beginning at five. Also starting tonight,

Queer Pride Festival takes over parts of Capitol Hill with a ton of live music, drag shows, and artists including Santa Gold and

Tegan and Sarah. That festival runs through Sunday, and K-EXP is doing a live pride broadcast

from Capitol Hill's Wild Rose Bar on Saturday from noon to nine and Sunday from noon to six.

Seattle Public Library has started to restore staff access to its network, but patrons will have to wait a bit longer.
