stop yelling at Washington State Ferries employees because the ferry system is in rough shape.

Complaints of crowd crush at Capitol Hill Block Party overshadowed what was supposed to be a fun

weekend and what's that phrase? Nothing is certain but death and taxes. Here in Seattle, we can add a

mariner's implosion to the list. The M's coughed up a playoff spot in record time.

Heads up, if you're heading to the east side this weekend, the 520 bridge will be closed in both directions between I-5 and the east side from Friday night until Monday morning.

Washdot crews are doing some maintenance.

The 520 trail and surrounding ramps will be closed as well.

The Summer Olympics opening ceremony is today.

There are more than a dozen athletes from Washington competing in too many sports to list here,
