Let's dive into this episode. How do you cast out stubborn demons? Is there such a thing as stubborn demons?

Aren't all demons supposed to be obeying the name of Jesus Christ

when they were commended out of a person?

Jesus never had an issue with demons resisting when he commanded them out.

And how do you practically deal with the situation

when somebody has a stubborn demon?

Or when demons don't want to go.

So in this video I want to look at that situation.

The example that I have from the story of Jesus actually comes from Mark chapter 5 or

Matthew 8 or Luke chapter 8 of the same story of a demon-possessed man.

In fact actually they tell us in Matthew 8 that this was two demon-possessed men that Jesus encountered.

Now the word interesting that the word demon-possessed in Matthew 8 is actually for Mark 5 and Luke 8 is used for a man with unclean spirit

or who had demons for a long time. And so a lot of people when they think of somebody being

possessed, they think of somebody that's completely out of their control. But actually, it was used

interchangeably. In one reference, it was talking about possessed, and the other

reference is said, men with an unclean spirit or men who had an unclean spirit. It does carry

the idea of control, not ownership. Demons can live on the inside of a person. Same way as, for

example, when you get alcohol inside of an individual, this doesn't mean

that alcohol possesses that person, but it does mean that it controls that person and makes
