Yeah, this has always been a point of contention in my relationship.

And even if it's not a similar scenario in your relationship, I kind of feel like this

is something everyone should pay attention to because I was blindsided by this.

So a couple of months ago, I told you guys about different relationships with communication

styles and you're either from like an ask culture or a guest culture.

And what that means is if you're in a relationship like say I'm looking at a box of cereal on

the top shelf, if you're from an ask culture, you'd be like, Hey babe, I can't reach that

can you get the box of cereal down for me.

If you're from a guest culture, you would say something like, I hate being so short,

I can never reach anything on the top shelf.

And then I would wait for my significant other to be like, Oh, I'll get it because you

feel like it's rude to directly ask.

And then but people from an ask culture like, why don't you just say what you want?

Like stop making me guess all the time.

So it's really frustrating.

Well, you laugh it about.

You just never heard this problem because of too tall.

No, I'm laughing because I just pictured myself genuinely being in that situation when

like my significant other would say, you know, wow, I sure wish I could reach this
