right about now and it's one that can't be reversed really.

My grandmother passed away last week now. I can't believe it's already been about a week

and she was 92. So I think we were, you know, joking about the queen like, you know,

it's out of the blue, but it's not unexpected. But honestly, she, she hung in there. She

was one of those people who could have lived like three more weeks or ten more years and

you would not have been shocked either way. And when my last grandmother died a few years

ago, I carried around immense guilt because both my grandparents live in the UK with the

rest of my family and except for my parents. And my other grandmother was in a nursing

home and it just, I felt so bad. I went to visit one time and I saw that she was, you

know, the nursing home doors are locked, which I didn't realize. And I just felt like how

awful it would be at the end of the lot, your life to be locked away in a place you didn't

really choose. And she was able to see her house from the window of the nursing home

from her room, staring at where you used to live and not having family around you. And,

you know, after she passed, I wasn't able to go to the hospital to see her pass. But the

rest of our family was there. And I, I carried that guilt around of like, you know, my,

I, her grandchild wasn't there to see her on her deathbed and neither were, her, neither

was her son because we all lived in the States and we couldn't get there in time. And I

beat myself up saying I should have written more. I should have sent her gifts and games

while she was in the nursing home. And I, I said to myself, I will not let this happen

with my other grandmother. And so I didn't. I, I made sure like she had great birthday

gifts. I would send her flowers randomly. She had an iPad. We taught her how to use. So
