1:07.6	where he worked with the ranch hands, and by the 1980s, his father amassed his own
1:13.8	85,000 acres. In 1964, Benny regained full control of the horseshoe after selling his interest
1:22.2	in order to cover his legal bills after defending himself on tax evasion charges. Since he was at this point a convicted
1:30.7	criminal, he was no longer allowed to hold a gambling license. So as a workaround, his two sons,
1:38.3	Jack and Ted, just 23 and 21 years old, took over the day-to-day operations while their father remained on the payroll
1:46.3	as the director of public relations. Jack became the president of the horseshoe and Ted
1:52.3	became the casino manager. For the next 30 years, Ted Binion became the face of his father's
1:58.9	casino and was often seen walking the floor during their
2:02.7	busiest times, loved cozying up to high-profile guests, was constantly flirting with the many
2:09.5	beautiful women who walked through the door, and was known for hosting the regular poker tournaments.
