so we're bringing you a new one each month.

Because January is National Stocking Awareness Month, we've asked Dana Flightman for an update on her plans for the month, her work as an advocate, as well as any advice she has for stocking survivors.

Dana joined us as a stalking expert on

episode 52, My Sister Story, Debbie Riddle, airing on January 11th, 2021.

Dana is the Training and Awareness Specialist for Spark, the Stalking Prevention Awareness and Resource Center.

She provides training and technical assistance to professionals across the country on recognizing and responding to stalking.

She leads in-person and online workshops about stalking behaviors,

stalking on campus, use of technology to stock, risk assessment,

and safety planning.

She leads Sparks National Stocking Awareness Month efforts each January designing and

creating social media campaigns.

We'll play the original episode with an update from Dana at the end.

I'm so glad we had the opportunity to speak to Debbie Riddle because of all the work

she's doing her on anti-stalking.

Yeah, I think it's helped her to keep her sister's memory alive.

I'm so inspired by what she's done to take her

fight to Washington DC and even pushed to get new legislation built.

For sure and National Stocking Awareness Month in January is testament to that.

I just kept thinking I'm not I don't know how she died I don't know how she died if she had an order of protection how did she die if all these police officers knew about how did she die if she had if she was going to go to court? How does she die if a prosecutor

knew about this? How did she die if a judge knew about this? Like all of these
