She says, Dear Danny, I had taken my dog champ to a park for years, and he had his little dog friends there.

Rio's dad would always put a neckerchief on him for every season.

I've got to know Rio well. To get to the dog play area, you need to walk down a hill with a fence covered with ivy. One sunny afternoon, Champ and I walked down from within the ivy against the fence.

I see Rio wearing his holiday neckerchief. He's pretty far from the play area, so I call him to come out.

He takes a few steps forwards, but then backs into the ivy and basically disappears.

I'm puzzled and call him again, and this time he comes back out, but then again moves backwards,

almost like he's being pulled into the ivy.

When I move him closer, I can't see a sign of him.

But now, Champ wants to play and is pulling, so I figure I'll find Rio's dad to get him.
