It is time for another bite-sized portion of the bazaar. This one comes from Dahi, who grew up in South

Dublin and says, I was 15 years old. My after-school routine was to do my homework at a local library.

I left the library at closing time about 6 o'clock. The street lamps were on, but it was still quite dark. As I was heading home, I could see a figure in the distance moving towards me, maybe 100 metres away. The figure was in silhouette from the light behind, was running on the path in my direction. As the figure got closer, its movement appeared unnatural, jerky.

I remember being overcome by a feeling of dread and stopping in my tracks.

The figure's face was featureless and its entire body was jet black.

Its arms and legs ended in points rather than hands and feet. As it reached me,

it leapt in the air towards me and I put my arms up to shield myself. When I put my arms down,

there was nothing in front or behind me. I took off like Usain Bolt and didn't stop running

until I got home. I avoided going to the library for a few weeks after that.

To this day, I can't account for what I experienced.
