0:20.8	book. It's called Intimate Conversations with the Divine. And I love the title. I love the book.
0:28.0	How are you doing, Carolyn? I'm fine. Reed. Nice to be with you.
0:32.3	Yep. It's nice to be with you. And I'm going to jump right in and just ask you like this book is
0:39.2	a little different from your past books. And this book is all about prayers. And I want to start
0:48.0	out just kind of asking you like, how did prayer come into your life? How do you use prayer in your
0:55.0	life? And why did you get the inspiration to share this all with us? Well, one of the questions
1:04.0	that I have been asked the most in these past years as my work took more of a, as I want more
1:14.0	down the trajectory of healing. And then I became very interested in the way miracles work.
1:25.2	In our lives. And in the, in the presence of the divine in our lives. And so I've, I've always been
1:33.1	someone who had a prayer life. But I kept that to myself. And, but as, as my teaching changed,
1:41.5	and as I, as people began to ask me more questions about their own spiritual life,
1:49.7	my dialogue with them changed. And it brought matters of prayer into the conversations and into
1:58.8	my classroom and my workshops. And that's when I realized so many people had issues. They confused
2:11.5	their relationship with prayer and the power of prayer. And what prayer is with, shall we say,
2:18.8	issues with the church, the politics of the church? They had, they had ideas of God being some
2:27.4	off planet man. And, and they, I could see that people were in conflict with exactly what is
2:37.5	God. And then I also noticed something that I think is really a crisis of our time. And that's,
2:46.3	that more people could tell me with great conviction what they did not have faith in. And,
2:52.4	and they couldn't tell me what they did believe. But yet people described themselves as a seeker,
2:59.4	as they want to believe something because we are creatures designed for awe and designed to believe.
