8, verse 1.

So now the case is closed, there remains no accusing

of condemnation against those who are joined in life union with Jesus, the anointed one.

For the law of the spirit of life throwing, flowing through the anointing of Jesus

has liberated us from the law of sin and death.

For God achieved what the law was unable to accomplish because the law was limited by the weakness

of human nature.

The law was limited by the weakness of human nature.

Yet God sent his son in human form to identify with human weakness, clothed with humanity,

God's son gave his body to be the sin offering,

so that God could once and for all condemn the guilt and power of

sin. What is Yaw we condemning? The guilt and the power of sin where I'm already

distracted. Where there is no sense of guilt, there is no empowerment for sin.

What sin attaches itself to is the sense of you having been guilty.

And so you end up in futility is one of my favorite words right now.

You end up in the futility of trying to fight sin through the posture of guilt. And you have to fight sin through the posture of righteousness. Okay? So you

have to become increasingly more convinced that you're righteous

than you ever were convinced that you're guilty.

Okay?

Your guilt was temporary, therefore inferior to the righteousness in you that is now eternal.

If there is no guilt, okay, for temptation to attach itself to, then literally there is no power for sin to continue to as Paul said rule over your members all right so I feel more and more like the we didn't talk a lot about the power, authority, or even the nuances of guilt.
