The story was told of a Jewish couple about 100 years before Christ came raging into the earth.

About 100 years before Christ was born, there was a Jewish couple that

had fallen in love at an early age. They had tried for years to be able to have a child and were

unsuccessful. Finally, in the later years of their life, through much prayer and seeking God,

God had blessed them. The lady conceived. They had a son, nine months later. The son was the

light of their lives. He was the joy of their

lives. They loved everything about him. They raised him until he was of age. And when he was of age,

they recognized as difficult as it was for them. Their faith required that they send him to the

synagogue to be trained in a rabbinical manner. They got ready to send the boy to

the synagogue and on the first day when they sent him off to the synagogue they found at the end of

the day that he was covered with dirt and leaves and they asked him what he had done and he said,

well I went to the woods and I played in the trees and I swam in the lake. I went to the woods

lake and the father said to the mother, send him into the room with me. I'll bring correction to this

and it'll be different tomorrow. Father brings him into the room, gives him a good tongue lashing,

scolds the young man, tells him how important it is that he go receive the training that's going to

make him into the man he was

designed and intended to be gets up the next morning sends the boy off to school he comes home the

next day covered in dirt and leaves the father said what did you do he said well dad i played in the

trees and i swam in the lake father said we'll have to take this then somewhere else so they brought
