Okay Fire Nation. Let's get started. I am simply thrilled to introduce my guest today. Carol Cain. Carol, are you prepared to ignite?

Carol is the award-winning travel blogger behind Girl Gone Travel.com. Her writing aims to inspire others to overcome their fears and pursue their dreams through travel.

Carol, I've given our listeners just a little overview. So take a minute. Tell us about you personally because we want to get to know you. Then give us an overview of your business.

So I am a Brooklyn girl currently living in New Jersey. Do not judge me New Yorkers.

And I married with three boys 16, eight and seven. And actually they are the reasons why I started blogging in the first place. I'm a travel blogger.

I love to cover anything from food to destinations near and far. And I've been doing it for about five and a half years now and having the time of my life.

So Carol, we're going to do a deep dive into your journey as an entrepreneur because you have a lot of exciting things going on. And I know you know the entrepreneur fire floor were going to talk about a failure. We're going to talk about an aha moment. We're going to talk about some of your current successes right now.

But before we dive into all that stuff, we always start entrepreneur on fire with a success quote to really get that motivational ball rolling. So Carol, take it away.

My mantra, what I always think about is it's not that I am fearless is that I don't like being afraid. And I'm constantly saying that because I think that a lot of times when you hear inspirational speakers and you read motivational literature and all that other stuff.

It's all about having the courage and very few people talk about what the fear and then security of that process. And so people think that I'm really strong and I'm really adventurous. And I kind of like to put it out there that 50% of the time I am kind of afraid.

I'm a little scaredy pants. Let's just say it. I mean, I am.

A little, you know, a little chicken. But the thing is for me is, you know, I want to tell people that it's okay to be afraid. It's okay to be nervous. It's okay to be a little insecure. It's just taking the next step and doing it.

And because the reward is that you come out of that feeling really awesome.

It's a powerful message, Carol, for Fire Nation. It's one that we talk about all the time is that embracing the fear. It's that realizing that if you're not scared about something you're doing fairly often, you're not pushing the envelope.

You're not growing as a person as an entrepreneur because it takes those times in our lives to really grow. So whenever I'm jumping on a live webinar, whenever I'm recording a video, wherever I'm speaking for an audience and I get nervous, I get scared.
