Angie just returned from an eight-night cruise on Carnival Cruise Line's Carnival Panorama at a Long Beach, California, and she joins us on the line.

Hi, Doug. I'm doing well. How about you?

Good. Now, I remember a couple of years ago, you sailed your very first carnival cruise, and it was also on Carnival Panorama, So I'm excited to kind of get your thoughts on the current

state of Carnival Cruise Line. But before we do that, we're going to take a step back here.

Give me some pre-cruised thoughts. You're up in the northwest. You had to get down to Long Beach.

What made you want to take this eight-night cruise? Because if I'm not mistaken, this ship really only

historically has done seven nights,

right? Yeah, I think they've kind of rotated through a couple different seven and six night

itineraries. But they now have this eight day or eight night itinerary that they do occasionally

that has the additional port of La Paz.

And the other reason that I chose this itinerate was most of the seven-night

itineries, they sailed down to Porto Vyarta first.

So you have two C-days, then you have Porta Vyarta, and you start coming back up the coast.

This one, we sailed to Cabo first. And the seven-night itinerary, when you do that, Cabo is the last port, and it's only a half day. They get there at like 6.30 in the morning. I'm not getting up at 6.30 in the morning to get off the ship. I don't know about you. But then you have to be back on the ship at like 1 o'clock,
