Summary

Episode 58 Carmine Lapello

In episode 58, we dive into a century old murder out of Toronto, Canada. In July, 1917, Twenty year-old cabbie, Carmine Lapello, gave a ride to a mysterious couple- a man and a woman. Early the next morning, his body was found discarded. He had been stabbed repeatedly. Police thought that his murder was a simple crime of passion, but after digging into the case, Carmine's great-nephew, Joe Lapello, discovered a mystery bigger than anyone could have imagined and it led him down a twisting road littered with mysterious clues, and shady characters. Joe Lapello discusses his great uncle's mysterious murder, and the book that he wrote about the case.
