And this week we are book clubbing Carly Simon's memoir, which came out in 2015 titled

The Boys in the Trees.

This is a book about growing up as the ugly duckling sister, going on to become the famous

one.

And along the way, collecting a little black book of men she loved or slept with that put,

it puts all little black books to shame.

Carly really threw it down and we're going to get into all of it.

That was Carly's hit song You're So Vane.

And one of the verses is definitely about Warren Beatty, which she talks about in the

book.

And you'll also hear some stories about him where you'll be like, yes, this song is

absolutely about you.

And she says the other verses are about other guys.

And she declines to name who because she says they don't know the song is about them and

she needs to tell them first.

So I think you'll have some guesses by the end of this episode.
