It was tough, but it was fun.

Earlier this summer, director Reginald Hudlin joined us to talk about his Clarence Avant documentary, The Black Godfather, on Netflix.

Hudlins had such a long and eclectic career we couldn't fit the whole conversation into the show.

So this week, some more career memories from Hudlin,

including the days when he was writing Black Panther comics and running BET at the same time.

Hudlin also tells us about working with Quentin Tarantino and explains why he thinks the 1998

Wesley Snipes movie Blade played a pivotal role in the history of Marvel movies. Plus, as Disney's New

Lion King roars in a matter of days, cinematographer Caleb Deschannel explains how the

virtual animals in the movie became more real to him than the flesh and blood ones he's worked

So as we have anticipated and known, Warner Media is undergoing huge changes.

New chairman at Warner Brothers, we've talked about that, and Sarnoff.

Everybody's a little bit like, well, okay, what is the job in the new environment?

And part of the reason people are asking that question is because of the importance of this service, this streaming service, HBO Max, which is now officially unveiled by Bob Greenblad, who runs that aspect of Warner Media.
