As you may know, we’re a mother-daughter duo and that’s why we’re so interested in the non-profit organization empowerHer, which was started by our guest on this episode, Cara Belvin.
The mission of EmpowerHer is to empower, support and connect girls and young women who have experienced the loss of their mothers. These girls and young women up to the age of 24 are paired with women 25 and older who have also experienced the loss of their mothers. They can meet up in-person or virtually around the globe.
