Coming up on tonight's show, UK government has shared contact details of a police investigation

into Palestine action and cases which are ongoing with the Israeli embassy. We'll catch up with the latest analysis

on the upcoming local elections. Those are, of course, this Thursday. A first story. Canada's

a Liberal Party has emerged victorious in the country's national election. They've just clinched

an unprecedented fourth term in office. If you looked at the polling at the start of this year, you might have expected a very different outcome, however.

In January, the Liberals were 25 points behind the Canadian Conservative Party and had been trailing behind them for almost four years.

The Liberals looked to be in a bit of a mess, with then

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stepping down after being beset by internal fighting and facing

an all-time low approval rating of just 22%. The Conservative leader Pierre Pollyevra seemed

all but guaranteed to be Canada's next Prime Minister.

But then something happened which entirely changed the country's political dynamic.

And that was acknowledged by a liberal leader, former Bank of England governor,

and now Canadian PM Mark Carney in his victory speech.

Here's what Carney said at a rally last night.
